A Week Sure Goes A Long Way!

IMG_1418Relaxing with my amazing family this week. Ain’t I the luckiest!?

Good morning my dears! I’m back and I missed you all so much! But I’m well rested and rejuvenated, and man I’m glad I took that ‘stay-cation’. Just what I needed to recharge my blogging batteries.

I’ve got a lot planned for this week – photos from the Farmer’s Market, more fermentation projects, product reviews, and maybe a little news from my own growing garden!

This is also the last week of our kindness mission, so make sure to get all that goodness out there! And if you’re hiding illuminationPositive cards, or pasting up butterflies, or maybe just dropping your own homemade notes, I’d love it if you sent me your photos! Email them to info at bonzaiaphrodite dot com by Wednesday night so I can show them off in Thursday’s wrap-up!

Ooh, and one last thing. Summer is starting to cool off (nooo!) and your garden may be slowing down as well. But before you start pulling out plants, please consider letting a few of your veggies go to seed! Seeds are easy to save and make gardening even cheaper. This year I’m hoping to organize a giant, worldwide seed swap! More info to come soon, but keep it in mind as you garden in the next few weeks.

It’s so good to be back!

    So excited for the seed exchange! I knew I was stashing my Moon & Stars and Charantais seeds for a greater good.

  • Tenise Rae

    I sure have missed you too! :D

    @Laura Burris: I’m with you! Lovely as summer is, there are only so many days over 40 degrees Celsius you can take before craving a couple of cold nights! Now… if only we could ever get 1 cold night in Merida from time to time…

    @Sayward: welcome back!

    @ Miesche – Thanks! All fixed. =)

    @ Melissa – Thanks! It’s great to be back and I can’t wait to post all the good stuff I’ve got lined up!

    @ Laura Burris – Eek! Well, I wish we could have some more heat. Portland’s already cooling down and summer was too short, I say!

    @ Tenise Rae – Aw, thanks for the love, lady. =) (the links were broke but I fixed them earlier)

    @ erosan – Thanks!

  • Saundra

    Most of my plants have burnt up thanks to the very very hot weather of oklahoma but some seeded before completely dying. Glad you had fun looking forward to your new posts!
