I love What I Wednesdays just the way they are! (Well, not too keen on the outfits, but they’re part of the package I love so much so I’ll take it). :)

  • Moira

I like both the food and the fashion. Recipes are totally welcome, too, in WIAW or other posts. :)

  • Meghan

I voted for the first option, but I’d be cool with the second.

Like Alli, I’m not all about the fashion… but I admit to buying some socks from Sock Dreams after a What I Wore Wednesday, so I must not be as immune to the lure as I thought. ;-)

I voted for Nos. two and five. I like knowing it will vary from week to week, but I *definitely* want the outfits to stay!

The reason I haven’t been doing WIAW myself – aside from massive time constraints – is that creating a food diary gets old. Fast. And I have run out of themes! I don’t have the energy to figure out how to mix things up right now, but eventually I may jump back in.

  • Selina

Love Love Love WIAW! But nos. two and three would be fine too!

Second option, but keep the outfit!

  • Sonja

I voted for number 1 and number 2. Hope thats not against the rules :-) But I would really love a combination of both: Keep the outfit but post some recipes now and then. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to vote!

  • jill

I especially like recipes/tips rather than just pictures.

I think you should do whatever works best for you and your family :)

  • Anonymous

You should, of course, do whatever you’d like to do! But if you are wondering if it gets really old seeing your meals & smoothies every week, the answer is… no! I love seeing what creations you pull together and even what your go-to favorites are. It helps me think about ways to change my own diet and add in additional healthy foods :)

  • Sarah

I love the outfit posts – as far as the “what I [xxx} Wednesday”, it could be ‘what I sang along on the radio to’ Wednesday and I’d still read it – your posts are always good value! So maybe one idea could be to mix it up and just have Wednesdays as insights into different things… my two cents!

  • Rachel

Oi! I agree with Jill. I do like seeing the pictures (keep the pictures! :-) ) but I love reading recipes too!

  • Penelope

I voted for focus on the eats (always looking for recipes/cooking tips) + highlights…but I also really like seeing your outfits!

  • Savannah

I LOVE when you post what you’ve had to eat. It really inspires me.

  • http://www.oursimplesouls.blogspot.com Rebeccatollefsen

“What I” is why I read this blog. On Wednesday nights I def. come on over here to check out the food porn and see what you’ve been cooking. It is inspiring. Don’t change a thing gal!

  • Vicki

I love the outfits, please don’t get rid of that! You have a wicked sense of style that is really inspiring. :)

  • Anonymous

I would LOVE to see a weekly recipe, since what you are eating always looks great + we wanna get in on that yummy stuff too!

  • Eve

I LOVE the WIAW recipes and pics, but could do without the outfits.

  • Jessica22

I voted for option 2, but also like option 1. I love the WIAW posts exactly the way they are, but I’d also love the occasional recipe. However it’s presented, the food is what keeps me coming back to this blog again and again.

  • Sal

I hardly ever comment (sorry) but I LOVE WIAW and the outfit posts, I think you should post what you have time for each week, some weeks could be every meal plus recipes and some weeks just highlights?? Make it easy on yourself we’ll all still be here loving you I’m sure :) Having a 12 month old, very adventurous, baby boy I seriously admire how you have time to do any of the awesome things you do, I hardly have time just to check your site every day !

  • Meg

I’m like Sal, I hardly ever comment, but I love visiting often and especially on Wednesdays and Fridays! I love WIAW posts as they are, but I do have to say that I love it when you post recipes! Not that they have to be pinned down to Wednesdays or anything, but they are indeed a delight to see when I get home from work. :) Your a truly inspiring individual! Thanks for keeping us informed and motivated!

  • Sam

Please don’t do away with the outfits, I love seeing how you put things together :) I like #1 and #2; I love the food porn, outfits, AND recipes all so much. Personally, I love how you mix WIAW up (on purpose or not) every week/month whether it’s a week’s worth of a certain meal or a day’s worth of food or a particularly good recipe. Keep on keepin’ on!

THANK YOU! Such great comments and suggestions guys, I’m taking everything under advisement and really appreciate you taking the time to offer some feedback. =)

I really love your WIAW posts as I find them really inspiring and they show how you can incorporate raw and non raw vegan foods into your day. I also love it when you post what Waits eats too :-)

  • Jacque

I was so excited to see this post as I was seriously missing your WIAWs! Please don’t jump ship! Truth be told, your WIAW posts have been key in nourishing my 14 month old and this breastfeeding mama. As a first time mommy (and a perfectionistic worry wort), I found myself feeling as though there were hardly any foods out there that were pure and nutritious for baby and me. But that all changed when I stumbled across your blog. Your What WE Ate Wednesday posts (along with your Feeding the Bonzai Baby series) have helped me more than you will ever know. Please continue. You rock.

  • Greenfeatherherbs

LoooooVE WIAW! I hope you keep it up. I also like the fashion part. I’m not really into fashion, but it’s great to see someone with an independent fashion sense! It’s inspiring!

  • http://windycityvegan.wordpress.com Monika {windycityvegan}

You make a really good point – it’s so great to see what Waits is eating! I take it for granted that my vegan kiddo is a few years older than Waits, but I would have LOVED to see something like this back in the toddler day.

  • AJ

i prefer seeing what you eat in one day rather than over the week or a breakfast for a week. it helps me get a good picture of really great example of what i should be eating in one day! dont mind the outfits either :)

  • Erin

Love WIAW, and especially the outfits! I think a What I Wore This Week would be a lovely post :)

  • jennyfurlynn

anyone of the first three! but i definitely hope you keep it up!

  • JenMR

I can’t vote!! I love WIAW exactly as it is, but I would also love a recipe now and then, and I could also say “Other” because I would also like to know how your household treats scrapes and bruises and headaches and indigestion, etc. (tea, homeopathics, nutritional therapies, aromas….I am so curious!!) and also maybe an ever-changing “What I ___Wednesday” where we could learn which alternative cleaning products you love, or how you’re mending your secondhand clothing, all different kinds of ideas…it’s clear that you’re an extremely thoughtful and intentional person I am very inspired by the lessons you’ve learned and the way your life is evolving to be ever more conscious of your family’s impact on the environment – physical, social, etc. Bring it on!

  • Rachel

oh my gosh I was SO excited to find out about Sock Dreams after a WIWW, haha! I love crazy socks!!

  • http://bonzaiaphrodite.com/ Sayward Rebhal

    These are great ideas! I’m taking notes . . . =)

  • http://bonzaiaphrodite.com/ Sayward Rebhal

This is so sweet, and yes! I will definitely be keeping it up!

  • Hollysan

You should do what works best for you. First time commenter…hi.
I don’t remember how I found your site, but I’ve been reading it often for about 6 months. On my own mindful eating, healthy lifestyle journey and have learned much from WIAW as well as your other posts. Thanks for sharing.
