Oh Hello, I’m A Certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach And Educator!

March 14th, 2013 - posted under: Furthermore » Inspiration

I am so excited to begin this new chapter in my life and career! And I can think of a million directions to go – a million directions I intend to go. But to begin with, I’m in the process of setting up a simple and straightforward coaching practice.

What a vegan lifestyle coach canNOT do: Diagnose, treat, or otherwise attend to medical issues, illnesses, or conditions. Act in lieu of a doctor, naturopath, dietitian, nutritionist, or other health care specialist. Prescribe medication.

What a vegan lifestyle coach CAN do: EVERYTHING ELSE! A VLC works closely with their clients, defining goals and then creating a uniquely-tailored plan of attack. Be it weight loss, healthier habits, “greening” up your home and wardrobe, or simply bringing some excitement back into your kitchen. Whether you’re a vegan wanting to clean up your eating, a vegetarian ready to take the plunge into veganism, or an omnivore who’s just looking to add more plants to your life, a VLC will provide a personalized program designed for your specific situation. No judgement, no outside agenda. It’s all about making YOUR life work better for YOU. And I can’t wait to do that!

My coaching practice will “soft launch” in mid-April with major early-bird, I’m-still-getting-the-feel-for-this specials. I’m already receiving inquiries (thank you guys!) and discounted spots are limited. So, if you’re interested in hearing more about my coaching programs and pricing, feel free to email me at info AT bonzaiaphrodite DOT com.

And thank you, thank you, thank you for all the support. I hope you enjoyed reading about my MSVA experience, I had so much fun re-living it. You guys are awesome – I just can’t tell you how much I appreciate you. Have a great weekend!

This guy was awesome, truly. Day 4 Saturday. Our last full day. How had it gone by so fast?? First up for the morning was Michael Parish Dudell, fresh back from . . . I don’t know, somewhere snowy! He’d finally caught a flight and was kind enough to come talk to us, even though [...]

Day 3 On Friday morning we all met up at a supermarket around the corner from Victoria’s apartment (not the market pictured above) for a guided grocery store tour. The idea here was that Victoria would teach up how to help people shop their local, non-fancy, non-hippie grocers. This is something I’ve done to help [...]

Harlem is so beautiful! A lonely street on a very early, very frozen winter morning. Day 2 Thursday began brighter and earlier, with a 7 am wakeup call. Lord help me! I grabbed a complimentary coffee on my way out the door, which helped to keep me warm on my walk to Victoria’s. Breakfast was [...]

At the end of February, 2013, I embarked on a week-long adventure in New York city. It was a gamble to say the least, but I was willing to make the bet since, you know, it’s my future and all. Pursuing my passion versus taking a day job – to me that’s a no brainer, [...]
