Every time I spend time in the desert, I feel like it’s this very particular kind of magic that I don’t quite understand but am absolutely captivated by. It’s such a wild, untamed place!

Amazing! I was in the desert 10 days ago – no digging though, just following desert X , the art exhibits, but I do agree that the desert is a magical place, regardless if you’re out in the wild and search for amethysts or just enjoying the scenery. As for your airplane experience – we meet people in the strangest places and if you feel a connection with some, it’s nice to acknowledge it and make an effort to stay in each others lives. Cool story. (but you always have them) :-)
