My love list:
Being inspired to try veganism again. I gave up because of lack of support and because I got in my mind too much where I became self righteous, arrogant, and judgemental. For me, stopping was a mental health issue, not a physical health one that many people experience. I actively hated people who did not think like me and going out to restaurants was fraught with negativity from me and in me. But now I have multiple vegan friends and a partner who wants to leave a better footprint, as well as eat more exciting things.
I (early) voted and felt high after filling in the bubble next to Clinton/Kaine. AHH!!!
Being part of a community where my favorite restaurant gives me free food (sometimes) and my favorite coffee shop (upon finding out it is my birthday) gets me a birthday card!
Stumbling upon an sidewalk art exhibit where passersby were asked to color in a picture of Frida Kahlo. I happily partook.
Cooling temperatures and hot drinks.
Walking to work in the autumn sunshine.
Biking.
Boots.
Kitten snuggles.

Hello from Baltimore! I used to work with Jeremy, slinging pizza at Bertuccis. Found your blog through one of Jeremy’s posts, and thoroughly enjoy everything you write! You inspire me to enjoy the world that surrounds me. I have a small notebook which I like to list the things that make me happy. It’s so nice to reflect on the list when I need a little boost. And honestly, Jeremy’s set of practical skills is one of my favorite things about him. He fixes my car and my iPad screen and builds stuff and it’s pretty damn sexy. =D
