Had mine all made up boiled the vials and transferred the oil and put in the fridge. Looked at them today and one is completely cloudy and others look like they’re starting to get cloudy. What did I do wrong?

Hi, I’m planning to do this since we got a bunch of oregano (the one with bug leaves) and it’s rainy season now. I’m just wondering if instead of muddler, can I use blender on Pulse mode and instead of Olive oil, can I use coconut cooking oil?

Thank you, I’m so glad you pointed this out, I was thinking the same thing. This is not a recipe for oil of oregano, this is a recipe for oregano oil, much less potent. Oil of oregano costs more because it is made with a different process requiring much larger amounts of plant material.

Just as with making Cannabis oil you dry it completely ten heat the oil and dried oregano in mason jar like canning and let it steep to 1 to up to 3 hours. But don’t bring the water to a vigorous boil. Around 205 degrees.

I made a batch of half a mason jar. Though I forgot to muddle it but left it in the hot water bath for 10 minutes and then left it by a sunny window for two weeks! This is as per the recipe I read before reading your’s! Hope mine turns out well.
