That stress becomes cancer!” and I’m totally the pot calling the kettle black. So I definitely empathize. Hi Vanessa, I started out studing evolutionary biology (macroevolution) but have recently switched to behavioral ecology. And you should totally do it! I mean, at least apply. But man . . . pull the trigger! Go back! Grad school is maddening and it tears you all the way down before you find your way back up, but it almost always – I’d guess 98% of the time – pays off in the end. Can’t really go wrong with more education and an alphabet after your name. ;-)

Yay! So glad you had the bestest birthday and such a great week! I haven’t had popchips in years but I do remember loving them. Maybe a little *too* much which is maybe why I stopped buying them . . . Also, secondhand shopping is one of my greatest pleasures, so I totally get it! Aww, I love this comment so much. Seriously, it’s been a long time and we have both grown and changed so much. It makes me more happy than I could possibly say, and I cant wait for the day when we meet! (some day!)

Are you really in midterms already?? Geeze, my quarter is starting sooo late this year. And I love hearing about N playing soccer. I really want W to play but he’s pushing for baseball, oh well. Hopefully he’ll catch the soccer bug eventually. Those high energy kids of ours – they are made for a game like soccer!

Love the Love List, and YES on the autumn sun! I love autumn light, it’s brighter and harsher and so much clearer than summer light. I just noticed it for the first time on a walk this morning. =)
