Hi Sandi! Omg I feel you so much on the long legs problem. So these are J Brand and I LOVE them, I have them in 2 colors and I’m looking for more (I only buy secondhand so that makes it harder). If you also prefer secondhand, I’ve seen lots of J Brand jeans on sites like Poshmark (also makes them waaaay cheaper, haha)

Oh, I've been meaning to make corn ice cream for ages! LLL: Spotting a new Michael Dickman poem in the most recent New Yorker // All things Margaret Atwood. All the things! I bet she would have a few interesting insights about one's fourth decade. // Introducing Nina to Daisy, the chicken she named (and sponsors) at the animal sanctuary I work with. // Finding out that Daisy inspired Nina to give an impromptu lesson on debeaking to her classroom on the second day of class. // Homemade pizza. // Being back in school. // Listening to Nina's litany of all the things she thinks I'll be able to do when I have my law degree, and realizing afterwards that every. single. thing. on her list has to do with animals. // Nina making the connection between Hermione's S.P.E.W. campaign and slavery, which has led to countless conversations about the underground railroad, and then of course to the Ood. Because all things lead to the Ood in a conversation with Ni. (I've completely lost you now. Sorry!)
