My postpartum anxiety was all tied up in other illness and depression, but eventually I did seek professional help and that is the only way I got through it. I used an amazing naturopath, but an MD or a therapist is also an option – depending on your particular needs/preferences.

I talk ab lot about my healing process here, even though postpartum anxiety is not the main point of the post.

I don’t know if you addressed this before, but how did you deal with your post-partum anxiety? Kiddo here is almost 2, and I’ve managed it so far, but it keeps getting worse so… yes! Suggestions?

Grilled PB&J is only slightly less awesome than grilled spinach/artichoke dip. It’s been so hot out that I’m using my stove as little as possible.

Have you read The One and Only Ivan? Nina and I are reading it right now, and it’s been great for facilitating conversation without my having to prompt her.

Being vegan, and getting my second degree black belt this weekend fueled by coconut water and raw energy bars!

And then celebrating with takeout vegan pizza from the first place in town to offer it.
