Firstly, YAY! congrats on your decision to go veg. Very exciting – good luck and let me know if there’s anything I can do to help. =)

So, I’ve actually had to put my dog food series on hold while I sort out some allergies with my poochies. It’s been quite an ordeal, I switched their food and it’s been a mess ever since, not because of the veg food, but because they’re allergic to something/s but we don’t know what. Very frustrating!

As for cats, I can’t really comment on that since I don’t have personal experience, but I do want to say, if I ever had a cat I would be *very* careful if experimenting with a meat-free diet. I’ve just read so many sad stories. I know there are vegans out there who claim success, but the truth is that unlike dogs, cats are obligate carnivores, and for every one success story I’ve heard of a dozen disasters. Sorry to be discouraging. It’s just my 0.02 cents, but please proceed with caution!

Hey Joselle, what kind of feeding kids info are you interested in? I probably won’t be able to do it for MoFo, but for the future I’d love to know. I do the WIAW which shows sort of “daily intake”, but I know there’s so much more to it. I want to write mor about it because there’s very little out there, but . . . where to start! Ideas?

Last year was the first time they did November, and as EroSan said, it clashed with NaNoWriMo, and also there’s so much less produce by then. So this year they’re going back to October!

Hmm, I guess I stay away from this type of stuff because I feel like it’s pretty well covered elsewhere. But, now that I’m thinking about it, maybe it’s not really laid out all in one place? I don’t know if MoFo is the right place, but maybe I *will* think about doing a vegan 101 series. What sort of stuff, exactly, would you want to see? Food? Nutrition? Meal plans? Social aspects? I’d love some ideas!

Also do you read the blog PeasAndThankYou? Her recipes are really familiar, traditional American food. Easy and relatable and definitely omni-friendly!
