Your blog is lovely(been following it for a while now from here in Portugal)and your lifestyle is a huge inspiration for my zero waste lifestyle blog.
http://www.zerowastelifestyle.blogspot.com
I used to be into raw food in a big way about 12 years ago and then meat and dairy and coffee and all the bad stuff crept back into my diet and now I feel crap-time for a change......time to dust down the juicer and time to get the kids to eat their pulses......

I accept! Will read The Green Smoothie Revolution.

Side note- while I did not stay even close to raw over the holiday weekend, I did manage to get 6 (meat and cheese loving) dancers from my company to try and actually enjoy green juice!

Yay, welcome on board (again) everybody!

@ Ann - A Vitamix can juice (<a href="http://bonzaiaphrodite.com/2011/04/how-to-make-fresh-juice-without-a-juicer/" rel="nofollow">see here</a>) but a juicer can't blend. If you can afford a Vitamix then definitely do it!

I'm glad we get another month on this one. I got into the groove of having my smoothies almost every morning, but wasn't very good at adding in much more raw stuff throughout the day. I will be picking up "Becoming Raw" from the library soon too!

I'm so glad you extended this mission, because I've been so busy studying that I can't even remember what my personal mission with this MMM was! And I don't have time to look it up right now, but I am pretty sure I'm staying sort of on track.

And once the LSAT is behind me in six days, I will have so much time to read things other than prep books that I will probably plow through a book a week. W00t!

ok so now i see how the monthly missions work =) i am going back to my vegetarian (and as vegan as possible) diet. i was vegan before i became pregnant last february. i got very sick for 4 months from morning sickness & was unable to care for myself. during that time, i just ate whatever. it was awful. since then i have struggled to get back to where i was. while pregnant there wasn't any good information on how to be vegan and pregnant (i needed saywards book!) and i was too sick & tired to put the effort in.

unfortunately i dont get much family support when it comes to eating vegetarian. my husband LOVES meat, even though he will openly admit a vegan diet is so much healthier. he just doesn't have the will power. so my mission is to make as many wonderful, vegan/vegetarian dishes as i possibly can to help change is tastes. if anyone has gone though this (having a partner who doesn't want anything to do with making dietary changes) & you have any suggestions i would really appreciate the support. it gets very hard, especially because i plan to raise our son vegan.

"Becoming Vegan" is a fantastic book I was just saying I needed to re-read (it's worth buying). I actually just got to hear Vesanto Melina speak at a Whole Foods this past month (on common questions relating to the raw food diet). She was very sweet and it was a good (short) discussion. I haven't read "Becoming Raw" yet but plan on it ;)
