@ Christa – That’s so crazy about your nutrition classes. I’d be so interested to read about nutrition school from an insiders perspective, comparing what they teach to the actual body of nutritional research. Seems that school is pretty out of date!

While none of this information comes as news to me (or most of the readers I’m sure) it’s still nice to hear it again and know that other people out there are doing their best to spread the word! I will definitely have to check this movie out – I hadn’t even heard about it yet so I’m so glad you decided to include a ‘review’ (/’rave’).

I just finished school with a degree in nutrition and food science and even in a classroom with a bunch of soon-to-be nutritionists and dietitians it’s amazing how many of them don’t accept the power of simple whole-food plant based diets. There was a lot of emphasis on how the “standard American” diet could be modified to be “healthy” instead of how the diet should abandoned completely and replaced with something truly health giving.
