@ Melissa – I don’t have a recipe for that sunflower pate . . . I just kind of threw some stuff in the blender! But here’s a good one I made last year. =)

I’ll be working on some more raw recipes. I’m so excited that people are interested!

@ Melisa – I love that idea! But we’ll have to see what other people think – I’ll put it to a vote in the wrap-up tomorrow.

@ Kaye – Portland is the greatest city anywhere, ever! The whole city is green so that’s not an issue. Where you want to live will depend on what lifestyle you’re looking for. You should email me!

Aww, your baby is adorable. :)And that’s coming from someone who isn’t even ordinarily motherly. :P

This is a little late, but I was wondering… My boyfriend and I have been debating moving across the country to Portland for a while, the only thing that stops us being the fact that we don’t really know anyone who lives there, thus, no idea what the city is actually like. Anything you could tell us? What’s the best area to live in? If only part of the city is ‘green’ or if there’s an area better suited to ‘green’ people than others? Or just any useful tips and the like? :P

OPPS! I meant to ask for a sunflower seed pate recipe and the almond pate looks delicious too.

Kimchee brings back memories of childhood. Our Korean neighbor would make our family kimchee on a regular basis. I was always leery of it because of the strong odor, but once I tried it I enjoyed it. Now, my husband and I love kimchee. Our 12 year old likes it too. The rest of the family…not so much ;-).

OH WOW!!!!! We just got back from totally unplugging for a week and I was drooling over the food pictures! Everything looks so fresh and healthy! Do you have a recipe for the sesame seed pa’te that you used in the raw wraps?

@ Nina – Craigslist! You may be able to find brew but if nothing else you’ll almost certainly be able to find a scoby – you could start making your own!

I just want you to know that I am a reader of your blog for quit a long time now, and I really lóve to visit you. One thing I surely would read more about is clothing or fashion. But not the latest fashion, just your fashion.

I live in a small town were there are only the standard shops. The piece of clothing you can find there, you can find all over the country. Know what I mean?
